Friday Favorites

This week was a rough one. With two double shifts, trying to get back into a gym routine,

caring for an entire house on my own and everything else that comes with life these days,

I'm so happy it's finally Friday.

Friday Favs

Longing for Zara

Spring is finally starting to bloom and I am more than ready to shed

my winter wardrobe and slip into fun bright new items.

During a visit to LA last July I was introduced to one of

my most favorite (read: most dangerous) stores.

ZARA.

As soon as I walked through the door I knew it was bad news for my bank account.

Luckily, there is a Zara in Philadelphia.

But it's just not quite the same as the Promenade.

Here's a few of the things I'm lusting after this season.



Style Inspiration: Banana Republic

Banana Republic, for me, is one of those hit or miss stores. 

I go in and find absolutely nothing, or love every single piece in the entire store.

While perusing the website recently, I've come to the conclusion that 

currently it would most likely be the latter and I love everything.

Handmade

After a few days off for the holiday, Ive taken time to reflect on the past year 

and on what 2011 will hopefully hold for me...

I am pretty excited for what this year might have in store.

Some exciting news to start the new year off with was my friend Molly finally
received her christmas package after lots of worrying it was lost for good.
Her package was filled with all sorts of hand made goodies and she's already gotten
many compliments on the headband/ear warmer I made for her.
Its so exciting when strangers appreciate your hard work.

I'm off to enjoy my day before getting back to work tomorrow,
